Catherine Buckler has joined the Catholic Standard as a local reporter. She holds an MA in Journalism for Emerson College, and a BA in Editing, Writing, and Media with minors in Film and Philosophy from Florida State University. A Cuban-American, she grew up in Miami, FL and speaks English and Spanish. Previously, Ms. Buckler worked as a producer and writer at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston. She has varied interests, including scary movies, comedy, convalescing plants, but considers mastering her abuela’s flan to be her signature accomplishment.
